Deparment Choir

Dear Students!

Welcome to the new academic year. I am Gergely Novotny, a third-year doctoral student and teaching assistant. You are receiving this form so that if you would like to join the departmental choir, you can do it now as easily as possible.

We will be holding rehearsals twice a week, it would be best if as many of you as possible could come to both rehearsals, but there will be two rehearsals so that at least one can be held each week :)

On 6 November we will perform together for the first time at the CHARM-EU cultural festival in Budapest. Later on, we would also perform at the departmental Christmas and spring festivities, not to mention ad hoc opportunities that arise in the meantime. If we are clever enough, we can also count on inquiries from Scandinavian companies and organisations in Hungary (I say this from personal experience).

November's programme will include Hungarian folk songs, choral works, as well as a Norwegian, Danish and Swedish piece.
