Our conference Taboo in linguistics, literature and culture took place from 26 March to 6 April 2025, bringing together lecturers and students from the Scandinavian Studies departments of Belgrade, Gdańsk, Cluj-Napoca and Strasbourg, within the framework of the BIP Erasmus programme. Participants were able to listen to lectures in English and Scandinavian languages on linguistics, literary studies and culture. The programme included lectures by two guests from Denmark (Carsten Levisen, University of Aarhus; Maria Dixen, author), a boat trip to Szentendre, a dinner, a pub crawl, a quiz and many other informal and professional activities.
Last year our students and lecturers visited Cluj-Napoca in a similar programme, we hope to create a tradition and to continue the work in a new location next year.
