Call for Papers:

Across Cultures and Borders

Deadline for Submission: October 10th, 2021.

FILOGI is a peer-reviewed, academic multilingual online journal of the Institute for Germanic Studies at Eötvös Loránd University Budapest. We welcome papers from a wide variety of interdisciplinary theoretical and/or applied research perspectives within the fields of German, Dutch and Scandinavian Studies.

The forthcoming volume, Across Cultures and Borders, calls for papers addressing the topic of various cultural issues relating to the above mentioned research areas.

The last decades have shown a significant growth in the research on cultural diversity and its impact on foreign language teaching. We welcome studies focussing on, but not limited to the interpretation of cultures, intercultural relations and relationships, intercultural teaching and learning, literature and linguistics, motivation and language learning strategies, dimensions of interculturality, issues most pertinent for research in language, literature and culture.

Papers should be written in the language the study is related to (German, Dutch or one of the Scandinavian languages) or in English.
